Troon Old Parish Church

Since 2007, the annual Congregational Accounts have taken the form of an annual "Trustees Report ".

This is more than just a change of title.  Troon Old, like all Church of Scotland congregations, is now considered to be a charity in its own right, regulated by OSCR (the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator).  The new standardised format meets OSCR requirements and provides more information than before.

Another important change is that the annual accounts are now approved by the "Trustees" and not by the Congregational AGM.  The Trustees of Troon Old comprise all active members of the Kirk Session and Congregational Board.
