Welcome to Troon Old's website. This is a comprehensive description of the life and witness of Troon's largest, oldest and original parish church - still, in many ways, ministering to the needs of this lovely town. We are situated right in the heart of the town and are ready to welcome newcomers to this area. We also welcome visitors from far afield - not the least the thousands who come to enjoy recreation here. We welcome golfing pilgrims who enjoy this stretch of Scotland's coast - arguably the best in the country - and visitors to Royal Troon will be doubly welcome.
As minister, I am available to meet with anyone who wants to consider joining this lively congregation. And I also am ready to welcome visitors personally. I have been, for my part, most generously welcomed in the USA where I have conducted many preaching engagements from Atlanta in the south to Pittsburg in the middle and Lake Chautauqua Institute in the north of NY State. Everywhere I have enjoyed wonderful hospitality and it is always good to reciprocate. That welcome extends to visitors from all parts of the world. Our visitors book embraces all continents and many countries. I hope we can welcome you some time this year.
